How it Works¶
In the desktop and web client a GDPR section is present with a couple of buttons for GDPR related tasks.
Client functionality¶
Those functions are available in the Lime clients.
Token¶
Create or delete a personal link that you can e-mail to the person that wants to see his/her data.
Anonymize¶
Anonymize the person and his/her related data.
Request anonymization¶
Tag the person with a date for a deadline when the person should be anonymized. Filters to get a list of the persons are included.
Delete anonymization request¶
In case someone changes his/her mind or the person can't be deleted for legal purposes, the deadline for anonymization is cleared.
Export Excel¶
Exports the person's data to an Excel spreadsheet.
Export JSON¶
Exports the person's data to a JSON file.
Portal¶
The portal is a page that the person could visit and edit his/her personal data. A link to the page must be created inside a Lime client using the Token functionality. It's possible to configure what functionality that will be available in the portal. It's also possible to disable the portal.
Read data¶
View information about him/herself like names, phone numbers, emails etc. Also read related information like history notes.
Edit data¶
Configurable per field or can be set globally.
Export Excel¶
Exports the person's data to an Excel spreadsheet.
Export JSON¶
Exports the person's data to a JSON file.
Anonymize¶
Let the person anonymize him/herself.
Request anonymization¶
Let the person request that he/she wants to be anonymized.
Consent¶
View and edit consent.
